I bought 2 hamsters yesterday and I'm trying to figure out what kind one of them is. He's a dwarf hamster and I think Roborvski because he acts exactly like them according to my research, however, marking wise he's totally different. he is strictly a gray and white, and they don't fade together. there are distinct contrast between the two kind of like a cow if you know what I mean. I cannot get pictures yet because my cam doesn't have a place to plug into my laptop but any help so far so would absolutely appreciated!!! Thanks!
He is also smaller than a typical Russian Dwarf Hamster if that helps any. *shrugs*

You say they look smaller then a typical Russian Dwarf. Do you know there approx. age? If they were still young, then they would be smaller then a typical russian dwarf.
My guesses would be Russian Dwarf, and possibly Siberian Dwarf. Hard to determine without a picture.

Yeah, sorry about no picture. Hopefully I should have one soon. The pet store told me that they are about the same age. Plus his body build is different from the other. The other one is no doubt a Russian Dwarf Hamster but this one is a lot skinner and smaller. He also has a slight tail protusion but not as great as a Chinese Dwarf. He's characteristics are of Roborskvi as he is very skittish and runs for hours on end. The other one is used to my hand and looks exactly like a Russian Dwarf but this other guy stumps me. I really wish I had a picture. I've never seen a hamster that is gray and white though so that's why I'm curious.
*edit* they are both about a month old.

Let me change what I said before. While it could be a russian dwarf, it may be a campbells dwarf russian, or a winter white dwarf.

Winter White Dwarf

*Note...a Campbells Dwarf and a Siberian Dwarf are virtually the same breed.

P.S....Did the pet store tell you what breed they were, or no?

I just read your edit. 1 month old is pretty young for a hamster. He/she still has about 4-6 months of growing. So, they could both very well be russian dwarf's.

No, jsut that they were dwarfs. They don't look anything like one another so I assume one is a different breed/kind/species or whatever.

I did a search, and while I have never heard of this breed, it looks like what you have.

Just saw the other pictures...The other hamster looks like a Russian Dwarf Hamster that is mixed with something. I cant place what it might be mixed with(maybe a yellow agouti), but that is not a pure russian dwarf.
