injured leg

my friend called me yesterday and told me about her hamster..she said that when her hamster run in the wheel, she will raised one of her front leg but she also told me that she can handle her food with her front leg...was her front leg injured?

It could very well have been injured, but we online will not be able to tell you for sure what is up with this. I hope that the hamster is doing better. Is it a dwarf? I know that sometimes the little wire wheels are just to big for some little pets and they need the plastic ones so their little feet will not slip between the metal wire. I would think that it would be painful to be running on a wheel real fast and than have my leg go through the slot. Let us know if the little one is doing better. Marianne
