nope...it's not the same hamster...the 'injured leg' is a WW and the wheel is a plastic wheel.....ermmm...and about the female WW that squek..i don't think so that she's afraid..because she lives happily with her mate...and one thing...why did the female WW like to over-lapped her mate?..and is it ok if i put pine plus some cotton as their bedding?

Hamsters over-lap each other for warm and being close together. I like to see my hamsters cuddling each other to sleep. :)
I think using pine as their bedding will be sufficient. Cotton will tangle their tiny legs and this will be quite serious if nobody help to untangle them.
See ya!

How are the hamsters doing now? I agree with pearl about not using the cotton. The over-lapping as you called it may have been any number of things. They may have been playing, sometimes a female may be the agreser of the two and may be putting the fellow in his place. I would not worry about that behavior or the squeeking. Mine squeek for lots of reasons. My little dwarf hamster is squeeking right now, she does not seem to want to share her pumpkin with her mate. I made pumpkin pies and cookies today, but the pumpkin was so big there is still extra cooked pumpkin, my hamsers, rats, gerbils and bunny just loved it. Let me know how things are going.
