More gerbils!

Well tonight we got to more gerbils. one is a nutmeg, other looks like a chipmunk (black and tan mixed). both are females and there names are Corona and Chippie.

also, can we let the new gerbils mingle with our other female gerbils, Dori and Sugar?

oh and were trying something new...a plastic tote for a cage instead of those stupid critter trails :D

you cannot mix them
wild gerbils live in colonies
each colony has a territory
that territory is its source of food so the colony will fight off members of other colonies
each group of gerbils you have is a colony
if you mix colonys they will fight just as wild colonies would
