I recently purchased an Australian White's Tree Frog, Chubbs. He seems to be doing well and really likes to be held a lot but he's kind of slim. I'm not sure what he's supposed to look like right now but, I would like to be sure I'm feeding him enough. How often should I feed him and how much? Right now I feed him four or five small crickets every other day. Is that to much or to little? Any other important info on them would be greatly appreciated although I think I'm on the right track other than feeding.

You didn't say what size your frogs are? Babies eating Pin Head crickets or full grown frog? I had Whites Tree Frogs years ago. I always dusted the crickets with vitamins that you can buy at the reptile store specifically made for dusting crickets. They should feed every two days and given only as much as they will eat. Be sure the frogs water has no Chlorine. You should also have an outside / above the cage heat source maintained at around 79 degrees. Be sure there is not hot surfance the frog could burn itself on such as the wire mess top lid. Also just an FYO....it's not a real good idea to handle them as the salt & bacteria in our skin is not good for them. Enjoy you frog! They are my favorite of all the frogs.
