Hi Kat. Canadian kittens look the same as yours...we have many different kinds of cats to choose from....I have a Russian Blue...she is all grey with a tiny bit of white on her chest and stomache. Because she is a purebred I gave her the name Countess Tatianna Katrikka Von KittyKat. She misses me so much when I go out that I want to get her a friend or two to play with while I am gone away. I also have a 14 year old chinchilla named Barney and I am presently looking for a female friend for him. His mate died a while ago and he is lonely. We also have an aquarium with fish.

same here too.i 've this cat who is really sociable. when the kittens me & my friends picked up got adopted away, he became so depressed it's so sad to look at him!the other resident cat is rather lofty. so their relationship is not that good.when the next batch of kittens arrived, he's back to all smiles again,playing & really take care of the kittens himeself!(at times, i think he's like a tomcat nanny,licking clean the kittens etc...) so ever since that incident, i realize the importance of cats' unique personalities too, esp. if they r to live together.so i guess a important criteria for countess Tatianna (very classy name!sound like a real beauty! )'s playmate must definitely be a sociable kitten/cat (one that likes to be with other cats or else all your effort goes down the drain.)actually "orange-black" is a good example.(in website) she so likes to be with human beings that she totally ignore the other cats!(not sociable with other cats but loves humans). hmm...also,will Countess Tatianna be jealous of the new playmate?....just curious, how does Barney and Countess Tatianna gets along well?wow, you keep fish too. i used to have a fighting fish but it died due to my negligence, still feel guilty about it until now.anyway, it's nice to hear from you again!

Hello again. We just got a lead on an older female chinchilla...yes, we bought her....we are calling her Tiffany...and between her and Barney it is love at first sight. They started kissing and cuddling right away and even though I bought a separate cage for her, we don't need it...she moved right in with him and they are happy...not one tense moment at all. Tatianna is having a blast watching the two chinchilla's and listening to them talking. She is such a gentle cat that she sits on the sofa with Barney and just watches him. She has never lifted her paw to him at all. I had my girlfriends' cat here for two days and Tatianna just wanted to be friends. She will be fine with whoever we get for her, however, when I am gone for awhile, my husband tells her "mommy will be home soon"...so she goes and sits by the door to wait for me...just like a dog. She is great. Hope to hear from you again soon.

Hi again! WoW! how wonderful you have found the perfect companion for Barney! It's amazing! I can't believe this when I read this! and to think this is their first meeting only. Barney is very lucky indeed! to be loved by such a caring owner and to have a new lady coming in his life again.
Sound like Tatianna is a very good natured cat!Different here.All my cats/kittens here dislike dogs, when we tried to introduce another pet dog(friend's) to them, (and that dog is very good natured but timid, even played and sleep with hamsters!) they (the cats) hissed, hair raised,claws out! more fierce than the dog! and we thought initially that we had to protect the cats/kittens instead if the dog give chase and scare them.
I used to have this kitten who likes to bite and hold crumbled paper ball in her mouth, her face a vision of blissfulness as she stroll up & down the carpet, just like a dog too with a prize in his/her mouth.Talk about cats with dogs' mannerism, I always have the idealism that cats can have equally strong notion of loyalty to humans being too. What do you think? (since you keeps both Barney & Tatianna)

Hello there. Your cat must have looked quite funny with a paper ball in her mouth. Ha Ha! This is my first cat ever...so I am just learning about what they like and don't like. I have had everything else..raccoons, snakes, lizards, birds, fish, dogs, hamsters, guinea pigs, rabbits...I have always loved animals a lot and it was good for my children to learn to love and take care of them too. We have three of those fighting fish now too. Four Tetras plus three angelfish and one catfish and two plecosthamuses. I miss my birds though... mostly because of the sounds they made in the house. Anyway..I don't want to bore you here with my personal zoo. Hope all is well with you and hope to chat with you again soon.
