Pretty much the basics: large parrot seed mix, you can get those cheaper in bulk if you buy a lot, large parrot pellets, plus fuits/veggies and a variety of nuts, you can get those in bulk as well at grocery stores.

Do you mean Hypocrite?
If so do you even know what the word means? No. Because if you did you wouldnt have called us one!
You asked "What to feed a bird". You have a avatar of a cockatoo. So it looked as though you already owned one.
P.S. If you don't know what to feed a cockatoo then you seriously don't know what you are in for. Cockatoos are VERY difficult animals to keep.. Alot more difficult then the birds you already have

Nothing to apoligize for. We may have came off rude. But just asking a simple question.
Please read books on these wonderful animals.
I have owned a few. they are very loud. And that is the #1 reason people buy them and give them away the next day.

They are beautiful birds indeed. When I was younger I always wanted to have a large parrot that I could teach how to talk and he would sit on my shoulder, but at some point we all have to grow up and realize what huge responsibility animals are. Reading through that website made me step back and realize how much I still dont know about birds. In fact I was watching a show the other day(jack hanna) with lady who lives in NC, shes got like 300 somethings adopted birds, most of them are large parrots with a lot of issues, and majority of the cockatoos are feather pluckers, which from personal expereince I know how heartbreaking that is, and almost impossible to treat.
So I hope you research more on these birds before getting one.
good luck~

My mons said she would get me one only when I'm 16. So I'm going to research for the next two years and get a job when I'm 15 so i can buy it with my one money. I'm looking for a 5-7 year old cockateil for my 5-7 year old male purdy?
