age?????

ok everone i'm really sorry about all these questions but i really want to make my birdies happy :) so i was wondering.... :rolleyes: do you guys know how to tell the age?????? :p cause I don't. thanks. any information ( and i mean aaannyyy) would be great

With parakeets, the younger ones will have all-black eyes. When they mature, the eyes will get some white in them. Also, the ceres are a different color, I think. I'm not too sure, though. I haven't had a parakeet for a long time!

If youre talking about a parakeet, Tweezle is right. The babies have black eyes and then they turn into regular color.

You can also tell by looking at cere(part where the nostrils are), when parakeets are young, both genders have pink cere, as they age, males turn into blue, and female remain pink and get darker as they age. You can tell by looking at my blue parakeet, whos a female that her cere is brown, since shes like 7-8 years old. The other parakeet has lighter brown cere.
Also something else you may notice they younger birds have light pink/grey feet, but older ones will have darker feet with more wrinkles and theyre kinda dry.
