i live in MASS.. does anyone want to buy a deaf ferret from me
my girlfriend bought us a ferret like 6 weeks ago... she didnt know what she was getting into nor did she ASK MY PERMISSSION and the ferret is driving us nuts.. i called a shelter and the lady said that the white stripe on her head means theres a 95% chance shes deaf... i already kinda thought she was but i wasnt sure if she was jsut stupid or something.. since she doesnt learn anything at all.. we cant stand the smell and she constantly does what we dont want her to do regardless of what we do... we spray her with water or scruff her and nothing dissuades her... the lady at the shelter told me that it takes 3-6 days to teach a ferret not to do something and 3-6 WEEKS to teach a deaf ferret not to do something.. we got her a local pet store.. shouldnt they have known that a stripe on their head means they are almost certain to be deaf??? stupid ferrets always climbing inside the couch every chance she gets and nothing we do makes her realize shes not supposed to do that.. shes always climbing in the entertainment center... going crazy inside her cage biting at the bars like a psychopath if we dont let her out... she drives us nuts... except my girl started taking the ferret outside and she acts cute and excited outside so now she doesnt want to get rid of the ferret anymore.. but i never wantd the ferret in the first place and i still want to get rid of it.. i agreed we could get a cat instead... cuz it wont smell itll be cuddly and not PSYCHO.
dont get me wrong i LOVE animals. we also have 6 rats. but the ferret is disgusting and annoying and she doesnt learn. so someone PLEASE make me an offer. 100$, 75$ i dont care just give me something.. and take this stupd animal away
