A combination of being 17 and living by myself, having to work and go to high school and college and having a dog, boyfriend and grandma to take care of has all culminated into a situation where I feel as though my bunnies might be happier in a different home. I've been posting a lot about their hormonal changes, and the truth is that there's a chance I wont be able to afford their spay even AFTER christmas, and they're driving each other insane now. They're constantly fighting and making pee messes, but I hardly have time to keep their litter clean. I've almost had to borrow money just to feed them.

When I got them I had the best intentions, I just wish that I realized I didn't have the means. Their cage is too small and I can't afford another one (I've got two cages but when I separated them they seemed even more stressed). I try to clean it as much as possible and I've made sure their diet has been good but this isn't everything they need. They need good healthcare, a good spay, a lots of time for love and affection.

So if any of you rabbit lovers live in the MD area, please let me know if you'd be interested in adopting them. I'll give you anything out of their supplies that you might want, so money is honestly not one of my goals. Thanks guys.

By the way, this sucks.

What breed of rabbits are they?? I'm looking for: Harlequins, Rex, New Zealand, or French(or)English Lops.

A good idea is to not charge an 'adoption' fee, but to charge a 'spay/neuter' fee. The potential homes could pay a portion, or all, of the cost for a spay/neuter, and they can pick the animal up when the procedure is complete... That way you will not be adopting the bunnies out to be used for breeding purposes. (As there are more than enough rabbits in the shelters, as it is)
Do you have a low cost S/N clinic nearby? Or a shelter that will do the procedure?
