ok buddy is well i don't know what kind he is but he loves his wheel!!! Whenever you walk into the room at night he is always running on that wheel. Brownie is so lazy!!! He just lays around all day until he decides to wake up and get something to eat and drink. Sometimes but very rarely you will see him on his wheel, but he only makes it go around one time then he decides he is done. Cleo is very touchy, i had thought that she was going to have babies, but she didn't:-( :-( . She was just cold i guess because she piled her bedding into her little house. but she stayed in there for a really long time! Too long to have babies. well there are their personalities. i can post more pics if anyone wants me to. so do you??? ok well i am glad that all of you like the pictures!!

ooh, yeah, I'd love to see more pics, your hammies are so cute! I think out of the pics, Cleo is my favorite. But you know what? She might have babies sometime later in life. Maybe... keep hoping! :D (I love this smiley, I don't know why but I do lol: :sly: )

What do you mean that she might have babies later in life? I posted earlier in the week about i thought that she was going to have babies. But she didn't. I kept her in the same cage with brownie for a while , but then after a while of being together they started to fight , and i mean fight!!! So i seperated them. Then cleo got mites so i treated her for the mites, then she started to build a nest. She piled all of her bedding into her little teepee ,house, thingy. Well even now she is in that little house. i am just wondering if she is just cold or what? Oh and do hamsters put on weight for the winter? i don't know what is going on with her! She is still very touchy
(well she has been all her life!) I want her to have babie hammies but i don't know if she is going to have them now or i don't know if i should put brownie back in the cage with her? Do you think they will still fight? What do you think i should do?

Okay no, don't put brownie back in teh cage with her. If they were fighting, bad idea. I haven't heard of hammies gaining weight in the winter but maybe I'm wrong??? Maybe she is cold, but then again, she might be going to have babies, no idea. Sounds like her and Brownie have some issues and again, I wouldn't suggest putting back in teh same cage, they could hurt each other, and that would be bad of course. Keep us up to date on what's happening would you?

ok i will. Cleo comes out of her little house at night. Sometimes when she comes out i look at her back and it is a little bit wet. Once when she came out i thought i saw a babie. It wasn't a babie, it was a piece of wet bedding. She has been in her little house for a long time now! I can take some pictures of the outside of her house with all of the bedding in it if you want me to. i can also take some pictures of cleo when she comes out. She still feels a little bit big to me. oh hey Pantamallion, i think we are the same age! You really seem to know alot about hamsters!

lol, I'm 11. Well I once owned a hammie of my own. My mom loved rodents, and she knew I loved animals, so she went to teh pet store one day and bought all of teh supplies for a hammie, the hamster included. My Dad was sitting on the couch and of ocurse he hated rodents to death, and when he saw all the bags, and the hammie out of the box, he went berserk. I got rid of her in a few days. Her name was gumdrop. But my next door neighbor took her in, so I still got to see her. She even had babies! Sadly, my freind who took teh babies in went on liek a 3 day trip with her grandparents, and her dad had to take care of them, you knwo feed the mom.(she was already going to have the fluffballs when I got her, I didn't know it though lol) And he forgot to feed teh mom for those three days so she ate her babies :( but yeah, I'm not an expert on them, but I know a bit on them. And we moved about a year or halve a year after and I don't know what happened to them. Alls I know was my freind was ready to kill her dad lol. She was storming around the house, and whenever she saw her dad she'd say something like "You were supposed to feed them you lazy...URRR!!!!" But it's okay, her dad was kind of lousy, and really lazy. No offense but really he was. But good luck on your hammies! But really try to get some pics. They're so cute!

It says 1991 !!! What?! Really? Hm... now how would that happen... hold on, lemme think for a sec how it could have happened, gotta replay the day lol. Let's see... This is like ten minutes later and I know exactly what happened luckily. Well, I was typing in my profile, and my brother, who was feeling like he just wanted to do something to me, just for the fun of it, changed it to his b-day, which he's 13 lol. I got up to let my dog out, which is like two rooms over, becuase I heard him scratching on teh door.. and yeah lol :p

lol, of course not. ;) As I said above I am actaully 11 years old, soon to be 12 on the 15th :D Which I'm more than happy with, becuase that day (my b-day) I hope to go register to volunteer at the local animal shelter. You have to be 12 of course, and I took all teh classes with my mom, so alls I have to do is register and I'm off!

Your lucky you can volenteer, you have to be 18 to help out at my local animal shelter.

My jaw nearly dropped and hit the keys. That would be seven years more for me, or 6 actually when I turn 12. I feel so bad for you. Why 18?? What are, picky choosing who they want to help? Do you know why they chose 18 as the age? People who are 18 have better places to go and things to do. And adults too. Jese, you should move! :laughing: lol just kidding, but really that's painful to have to wait that long!

I think it has to do with some sort of insurance thing. I not really sure though. Actually I am going to move pretty soon, isn't that funny! Mabye that animal shelter there will allow me to help out. I moving to Las Vegas.

I'm sure that if you can help out, they'll be glad to have you as one of the crew ;) :p :D Oh yeah, I forgot to say! (Or did I...?) Today, I'm getting my bearded dragons! I'm so happy! :rainbow1: (:b_day2: sorry just found this, and had to put it on lol) I'm dizzy whith exitment :dizzy: Boy, I'd sure love to see a pic od Cleo right about now, she's such a cutie. But good luck on moving, I've moved like 7 times, and I still can't get used to it lol.
