Speaking of Pitbulls....

I would like to show mine off! Here is Fate (7 month old Pitbull) and Sasha (1 yr old Pitbull/Pointer mix)

They are my babies and i trust them with everything and anything. This is why all this pitbull talk and banning in Ontario burns my a**....when raised properly..they are great wonderful dogs!!

Awww, they're beautiful! Faith is absolutely gorgeous, it's so nice to see an uncropped Pit. More Pits need an owner like you!

Thanks! Funny thing is, me and a friend of mine got our puppies at the same time. Me from a rescue, her from a BYB. We were talking and she mentioned that her pups ears didnt look pitbull so she was going to crop them. I said "Goodluck to yah, do you know how people are going to look at your dog?" She did care! Fate would have been grogeous with croped ears, but its not the image im wiling to show people, also its cruel to the puppy! Shes a sook and i want people to see that and not be affraid of her lol

Flash fowards a few months, Fate looks as pure as snow when it comes to pitbulls, my friend on the other hand who croped her pitbull, has now found out its not a pure pit, its a lab mix! So now she has a lab mix with croped ears and everyone is scared of it! hahah

*Sigh* Maybe we should follow the European example and outlaw cropping and docking. There's no reason for it. Look at a Pit--most people wouldn't recognize it as a pit without cropped ears. A Doberman looks like a hound dog with ears and a tail. The only reason people started docking tails was because of the pet tax that was instated in England--working dogs were exempt, so working dogs were docked. Not so sure about the cropping. *shrugs* I still think it should be outlawed, since there's no reason for it.
