Right now I have one baby dwarf hamster, living in a CritterTrail X cage. It's pretty tight now, because of the slide, a tiki hut, and a play house all in it. Do you recommend me buying another cage to connect to it? And if so, which CritterTrail cage do you recommend?

I have three in a Habitrail Space Station with four add ons. I have a Syrian in a CT2; I once tried a dwarf in there and she WAS able to climb up the tube, but it didn't seem safe for her.

I don't suppose there is any way to connect a CT to a Habitrail?

I am not sure which is best, but I suppose someone here will know. Good luck.

If you are going to invest in a new cage think about just getting an aquarium to use as a cage. I just bought one for two of my dwarfs and I love it. I have 3 critter trail 2's for my other dwarfs but eventually they will all be in aquariums. I am using a fifteen gallon one and there is plenty of room for them to run and for toys and stuff to be placed.

I use aquariums too and I think they're really good. They're easy to clean and you can put whatever you want in there. I think you can get lids for them that can attach to tubes too, so maybe you could find one like that.

would it be possible to find an aquarium that can attach to critter trail tubes?

I know Habitrail can connect to Crittertrail....
