Hi there is Mariel&Mask. I think pacus ( the fruit eating piranhas) are really cool. How big do they get and where do you get them, I can only find piranhas. I have a 29 gallon tanf, Iknow they are one of the most peaceful fish in the world, but how often do they eat and what do they eat?

This is incorrect. Firstly, 200cm does not equal 18 inches....200 cm equals 79 inches. Secondly, adult pacu can reach approx. 110 cm or 43 inches and 65 lbs (I know, I have seen them at this size).

Also important to note is that pacu will grow from 2" to 12" in as little as 8 months, and their growth-rate is little hampered by tank size.
