Lots of Baby Rats in FL!!!!

hello. im in south Florida, where are these little guys? i have seven years of rat experience and am looking into getting 2-3 boys. why do the rats need homes? did you breed them, or are they rescues? im unsure. and why so many rats?

Well, we do breeding of certain colors when we get a request for that particular litter. However we only breed a litter if we have atleast 4 homes available to them. The other rats that we have come in as a rescue, which are vet checked and then tested for their personality. We want to find out what home would be the best for them( example: such as not good with kids, skiddish, likes dogs, that kind of thing.) We try not to over populate the nation with rats as much as we love them there just isnt enough good homes for people to keep breeding them. So we run our rescue which is where most of the rats come from. However we are very strict about who adopts these wonderful babies. There are contracts, visits, and much more for people to do before they can take home a baby. We are located in clearwater just east of Tampa.
