Hi,
I have 2 questions.
1. I have a large cage for my sugar glider. She will stand on the bars at one end and throw herself up backwards toward a platform on the other end of the cage. She does a complete backflip through the air before doing a perfect landing on the other side (she missed a few times while perfecting this routine). She LOVES to do this. Has anyone seen anything like this? She figured it out all by herself.

2. I plan to do some traveling this year and think that my sugar glider would be happiest if I found her a new home. I want the home to be in Plano TX where I may possibly be able to visit her a few times. She is very sweet and loves to eat nuts from my hand. Is there anyone local that could provide a really good loving home for her? I do not want to sell her but will give her to someone who will keep her and love her.

Your sugar glider is probably lonely, or bored. They do things like this when they have nothing to do, or no one to play with. Even though you are selling her, please consider buying her a wheel, if you don't already have one, or some other toys. How much time do you spend with her each day? If her cage has a lot of toys, and you play with her a lot, maybe she needs to go the vet? I'm not sure though
