is it ick?!?

i have a small five gallon aquairum in my dorm room with five mollies in it. I have noticed lately that one of my black mollie has white spots on it. could it be ick? i went out and bought some "quick cure" ick and lymphocystis medicine. is that the right thing to do? could it be anything else? please help! i don't want him to be sick!

Yes it is ick. And you did the right thing in getting the ick cure. One of the best to use that I have found is called "Ick away" It is blue and turns the water blue as well.

It is definetly "ick" and it was a good idea to treat him. A good idea is to purchase a breeding trap you can keep a sick fish in it while it is under going treatment so the disease does not spread. :angel6:

Ich will spread even if the fish is contained in a birthing box... ich is a water-born parasite.
