I have questions but need answers

If anyone could answer my question it would be of some help.
1. Are gliders really just flying squirrls?
2. Like squirrls can you let them out to roam freely (under surpivision)?
3. Do theyknaw?
4. Do they make good pets?
5. Are they friendly to other gliders?
6. If buying would it be better to get a pair or just one.

No they are a marsupial meaning they have a pouch. But people like to call them that until they research them then that will get on your nerves at least it does mine(not meaning that to you). If you let them out to "roam" you need to fix up a glider proof room and still suprvise very close.Some do knaw some dont,that is something that is a guessing game I got lucky.Gliders make great pets they are easy to fall in love with.Question 5 is tricky. you have to be very careful and watch very close when intruducing other gliders.They say if you can not give you glider ALOT of attention you need to get a pair. But if you are not breeding you need to make sure if you fet a male and female you get the male nuetured fast cause they will breed fast. Hope I've helped. I love my gliders very much but do alot of research first and when you think you are ready do me a favor and research for two more week because I am still learning new stuff everyday.

Gonna be a bit of a tough time finding one in GA because they are illegal for some stupid reason. Trust me I already looked into it, and they are vicious about not letting certain animals in to this state for no other reason but because they just don't feel like it.

Well thanks for your help but cant get one because they're illegal and theres no way to avoid that for a few years
