New England Small & Furry Club
The next meeting of the New England Small & Furry Club will be held on January 22, 2005 at 10:00AM at 45 Armory St, in Springfield, MA.
At our second meeting we will be discussing club rules, future meeting dates, general husbandry practices, alternative caging solutions, genetics, breeding guidelines, proper pup rearing and proper split cage introductions.
If you have gerbil or hamster pups that need to be re-homed, you can bring them along with you! So if you are looking to re-home your pups or just looking for a friendly group of people to share gerbil knowledge with, you are more than welcomed to attend! There will also be many beautiful gerbil pups up for adoption at this meeting so it will be a great chance to bring new blood lines into your stock. We hope to see everyone there!

Hey Guys, just an update! We are postponing this month's meeting until the 29th. I recently was informed that my cousin's 75th birthday party was being held on the 22nd in Vermont and I really need to attend this. Sorry, can't miss this one!!! :)

I will try to be there, work is a pain and they are short staffed so I don't know if I will be able to get the time off. I am hopeful though. I will be under strict orders not to bring home any little cuties though as me and my boyfriend will be looking for a new apartment in the next couple of months as a friend needs a place to live along wiht his girlfriend, one of my old cats and two leopard geckos that me and the girlfriend went out and got sneaky stealthy like....so you see my collection of critters will be growing with out me meaning too lol. I might have pups then too since Lucy and Shinji had mated after the first birth and I am hoping her second litter fairs well. I mean to split them up but I haven't had the heart to do so without having friends for them...I might just fix Shinji and let them stay together...they really love each other so very much. My god I am long winded...well wish me luck on coming to the show lol, I will be quiet then I swear!!!!!

Hi all,
Due to a pet store mix up, I have babies, then the babies had babies, I cannot keep these gerbils, I would love for them to go to someone that would love them as much as I do. Right now, I have one male albino that needs to go asap, he is surrrounded by women!
I made a mistake and thought after the first mix up, i seperated the male from females, so after 2 sets I now have a third set of babies, first babies are gone to a good home.
Please help or advise when i can find a loving home for them.
You can email me at Cynthia411@yahoo.com

How many exactly do you have to get homes for? I do a bit of rescuing here and might be able to finagle some space for some pups to re-home for you if you are really overwhelmed or at least I would be willing to take the white fellow you need to get out of the hen house. (I have a litter due soon so he wouldn't be alone for long as I will be able to get him a friend from that.)
