Got my new gerbil!

Hi guys,
I finally found a pet store and got a baby female gerbil! She is a southern agouti and is peach and white. It is great to once again have a mini furry pet running around :)

i was really upset when sparky my last gerbil died :( but hopefully jessy will be with me for many years.

For many years I kept Gerbils and loved them as pets, as each one had its own personality, although one was not exactly friendly due to being teased for many years.

The only way to pick-up this one, was to let it bite a finger, fetch blood and then pick-it while he held on with his teeth.

I've never heard of a gerbil biting so hard it drew blood, except when breaking up a fight between two gerbils...
