Bump?

In another forum that I visit and read (I'm not a member) they commonly use "bump". Just that word in the post, usually nothing else. Does anyone knows what it means or stands for? :confused:

My daughters go on Gaia, where they use bump. They told me it means 'bring up my post". It keeps the post at the top so more people see it.

Oh... I never heard anyone say it meant 'bring up my post'. I thought it was just literally bumping it to the top :p
