My two girls in my 'trio' are expecting soon...i have heard they might steal each other's babies...any one have any advice about different litters in one cage at once? I want it to go smoothly for all of them! thanks!

No one will be able to tell you exactly how your little ones will act. Just as we are, they are individuals. As long as your cage is big enough and they have plenty of nest areas they should be fine. Sorry to make this short but my nephew, who is sitting in my lap picked now to throw a tantrum. Marianne

They should be fine. Mine helped take care of each other's babies...they males will help too, but I would seperate them unless you want more babies a few weeks down the road. They will mate right after the birth of the babies. Gerbil babies are sooo cute! I am so jealous!

Please let us know how the babys do. I think it is one of the most fun things, being able to watch the little ones go from pink little helpless things to cute little fuzzies exploring everything. Hope that you have homes for your new little ones, if you are not planing on keeping them all. I look forward to hearing about the little guys, Marianne and her zoo
