ghost shrimp???

i recently bought:dollar: 2 ghost shrimp. i know they lose their exoskeleton every couple months.......... i came home a day ago and one of my shrimp was all white and had curled up under a fake plant. i knew she was dead when my other shrimp started to bite her:bawling: i was wondering if anyone could tell me what they look like when they lose their exoskeleton? its just that i wasnt sure the other day whether my shrimp wasdead, had lost its exoskeleton, or what? when my other ghost shrimp does lose its exoskeleton i want to be sure of what is going on.

It looks exactly the same as when they were before they moulted.

But only difference is that it has a much thinner and softer shell now, and it takes a while before it hardens again to be able to protect itself properly. Do allow some moss or driftwood for hiding places and they would be very happy.....

If it's all white and curled up, it might have dies for some other reasons, ammonia poisoning mebbe...or mebbe some other reasons...
