Jumping

Hey guys,
My female gerbil sometimes madly jumps around the cage. She is only 8 weeks old so do you think it is the age or should i worry? :huh:

naw, she's just having fun, some of mine did it when they were young, and one mother and daughter try to jump out of the tank every time I walk by it. lol, and I always have to oblige by letting them out for a short run around. Most likely she's begging you to take her out of the tank for some play time- or if she's jumping around really fast and darting from end to end that means something startled her for some reason. Some pups are really jumpy, or get nervous if they live by themselves. Just let her climb around outside the tank and give her lots of attention and she should calm down.
