is it really gerbil food???

i was wondering if Kaytee FortiDiet for Gerbils is really made for gerbils??? or is it for hamsters but they say it's for gerbils?? i just want to make sure i don't get the wrong food. thanks

From what I understand, it is one of the better choices for Gerbils. When I first got my gerbils we bought the hamster/gerbil types and they didn't eat half of it. I now use the Kaytee Gerbil mix and they eat everything in it - except the corn at times.

alright. thank you for your reply. i think thats the food i'll buy for them. since it's the only food i see in the stores that says just for gerbils.
