I've been riding horses for a while and reading them for much longer it took me a while to convice them to let me ride :bored:
But anyway my dad was late and I watched part of the next lesson, when all of a sudden the 33 year-old horse I learned to ride on was cued to canter and she almost rolled all the way over her neck was trapped under her!! My dad is a doctor so he helped the rider... I 'm soooooooooooooo scard she won't make it she is very old!!! :crybucket :( I can't write anymore....

I hope that the horse is okay.
It sounds like that horse shouldn't have been used in riding lessons. Some 33 year old horses are active and healthy enough to work as lesson horses (I know a 39 year old pony who was still working fairly frequently until he was 35 or so) but for most horses this is long past the age when they should be retired and allowed to take life easy. Since the horse fell during lessons, it sounds like they were pushing her too hard.
You might want to talk to your parents about looking into different barns where they have higher standards for the safety of their horses.

Yes she is now fine, My riding teacher tried to retire her again, but Melody (the horse) just wouldn't have it! Sorry for not updating in a while!

I'm glad she's ok,
Does she jump or do the people just ride her??
Older horse's can make good starter horses for little kids That way they can be road on But have less wight on they're backs!

Yea, she doesn't jump. She is a horse for little kids when they start. I remember when I first started, I was 9.... Since I've known her for so long, I would have missed her so much if she had died.
