I'm not sure if I keep my horses or if they keep me. My kids would like to keep them in the house but my wife has drawn the line there. I have three APHA (Paint Horses) 1 mare, 1 filly and 1 Medicine Hat Colt. You can never have to many horses, I know a lady that has over 200 horses, she might be over doing it a little.

200 horses thats crazy i have one hes a qh/mix either mixed with tenessee walker or mustang hes got a mind of his own hes a yearling so I dont get to ride him yet but i will soon! :bouncy:

Another friend has over 50 head. In fact my Medicine Hat Colt is out of her stallion that is a son of Tardy2 AQHA

She has some really nice horses.

Yes she sells lots of horses. Some of them are being auctioned right now on my web site at www.ehoof.com you can tell they are her horses by looking at the users nickname, her nick is forrest. She has some real nice weanlings for auction right now. The good thing about buying from her is she is the owner of a transport company and with many of her horses she offers free shipping! I bought Chloe in Wash State for $5000 and had her shipped to Texas that was another $1000 and she did the shipping, Chloe arrived in great condition. I would never trust anyone else with my horses.

Well, I suppose that would depend on what she would be trading for. I know in some cases she will take payments over a short period of time but she will keep the horse until paid for. everything she has for sell are all APHA and AQHA horses with great bloodlines. I would not want to be a middleman on something like this. I suggest you look at what she has and if you like something you could talk to her about it. She has a ranch here in TX but she lives in GA right now.

I would have to ask her if it would be ok. But if you see one of her horses on the auctions site, there is a place at the bottom of the screen to send an email to owner. You could talk to her there. I am sure she wouldn't mine if I gave it to you but I would have to ask her just to be sure. She is a dear friend and I wouldn't want to get her mad at me.

Actually I think my horses own me. At least that's what my mustang thinks. He's a yearling stallion named Comanche. He's my baby. I also have 3 other a 3 year old Quarab mare named the Shawnee Princess, a 13 year old Paint gelding named Omar the sharif, and a 6 year old arabian named Alladin.

I have three horses. i could have many more though because we have alot of land:agree: . They get to graze in about 50 to 100 acres of it. they are so spoiled:angel5: I have a mustang that is very sweet:angel: but she has a problem with her knee.:bawling: The second one is a thouroughbred mare. she has a great personality. but when you get on her back you wish you never did.:kaioken: she had a jumping incident and has never fully recovered.:bawling: I saved the best for the last. this is my baby and he is actually mine. his name is snip. not because he bites but because he has a white snip on his nose.:lman: he is my best horse. i love him alot. :angel4:

Currently I am owned by my mare 32 years young AraPinto. A been there /done that with lots of attitude horse.

a 23 year old Arab Gelding who is a mush

and a 10 year old TB cryptiod that we just rescued and haven't had cut yet. Got dto do some research on who will do the operation!

I have owned as many as 20 at one time and have had Apps, Saddlebreds, Morgans, QH, Morabs, tennesse walkers, shetland ponies and of course Arabs and Arapintos.

ooh lucky horses
i only have 2, bonny an almost 8 year old QH mare and her 20 months old baby Rory (breeding stock paint) filly
they get to go on basically anywhere the bull ain't
right now they are in the cattle shed for the winter, but all summer they had one pasture of like about 400 acres, and another about 200 (they share with the heifers)

Where do you live? I live on a 199 acre ranch in paso robles, california. My relative is visiting with her five horses (that all came from ireland) and her friend who is going to be horseback riding for the Canadian olympic team. It is awesome seeing all her pampered horses that are so well trained. :wacko:
