i was just recently holding my hamster when i noticed that she bleeds from her behind.. i put her done and when i went to check on her there was blood on the bedding... i picked her up and she was fine but as i started to play with her again i checked and she started bleeding again... so i put her back and i'll leave her alone. i don't know what's wrong with her. does anyone know what is happening? i don't think she's pregnant she's too small, and she stays in the cage with a boy. and she's not peeing the blood it's just sort of coming out... what should i do? and is she bleeding or is it normal??? help me please. :(

the thing is i don't know how old she is. i got her from my college professor since he does genetics, and he either told me 6 months or 6 weeks. i don't remember, but she's sooo skinny and energetic

well, you can either take her to a vet or leave her in there and see if she has babys..

I also just saw that the boy tries to lick here down there and he bites her ear she just curls up in a ball, but then at other times she goes near him and lets him scratch her and bite her. everytime she is not sleeping she is looking for someone and whenever someone comes near the cage she stands up,looking like she is begging to be taken out. I don't know whats going on. Should I separte them?? I really love her and I dont want to loose her. Please help me!!

I'm not too sure about the blood part, but one of the reasons for bleeding is due to pregnancy.
Female hamsters tend to be very aggressive couple of days before their litters are dued. She would be busy all day grooming, digging, nesting and running and jumping around tryign to get out. Try putting lots of shreded unscented toilet paper and see if she would use them all to build a nest. So if your hamster is pregnant, this behavior is absolutely and naturally normal.
