New Hamster Owner Here

Hi there! I just got my hamster yesterday. It's a longhair syrian male. (I used to own a hammy when I was littler, and I have owned gerbils before too) I can post a picture of him later if you want. I was just kinda wondering if I could get some advice from all you wonderful hamster experts out there. I know a little (from reading the paper that came along with my hamster and the hamster section in my "Critters USA" book) about hamsters already, but I just want to know if there's any other important stuff I need to know... or if there is a good website that you'd reccomend me go to!! :)

Hamsterific.com is a good web site, they have all kinds of info. But if you have any specific questions, just post it in here, you willl get tons of advice, lol.

I'd recommend having a look through these forums at the different topics. They have given me lots of advice and tips as im a new hamster owner too.

http://www.hamsters.co.uk/ is quite good too.
