I want one. Mostly to help my dog's inhalent allergies.

I want or hope to get one from Sharper Image because I have a gift certificate thing and on their website they sell refurbished ones even cheaper than their regular prices. But I have no idea what I'm looking at.

I hear HEPA is the best, then I hear that ION something is the best..etc.

Any tips.. ?or websites with good info on it..I searched google and I'm more confused than ever.

Hello,

I have Kenmore aircleaners in every room in my house. I got them from Sears and they all have hepa filters. They are really good at keeping the allergens at a minimum. I hope this helps.

To be honest, I have one and I see no difference whether it is on or not (I am the allergic one). So maybe it's just because it's old or something, but I'm not impressed.

Thanks anyway.
I did more research and I ended up buying one. For $250, it better work or it's going back.

you have to watch what you buy because sometimes the filters are really expensive.
