Hi all,
My hamster chewed at the cage door that much she managed to get open and get out.
My hubby and i looked everywhere she dissappeared to a great hiding place so we thought we would wait until she was hungry and come out herself.
Another day went by and i was getting really worried at this point.
Later that night i was on my pc downstairs and i heard scraping and i followed it to the bedroom to the boiler cupboard chucked everything out and it turns out hammy had got through a tiny hole in the floor boards.
I got a screw driver and i was trying to get the floor boards up well she must of heard me and out she pops covered in dust black nose the lot
So i immediatly cleaned her up to her sparkling white self i was worried incase dust got on her chest but she was ok .
As soon as i put her back in the cage she ran straight to her water drank for about 5 mins tucked into her food wondered around her cage then went to bed
So pleased she is back safe and sound she is my :angel2:
To stop her from getting out again i have had to pad lock her cage bless her
Next day she was back to playing in her ball as if nothing had happened.
