I don't know much about sugar gliders... they're a type of flying squirrel, correct? If so, you must need a huge cage for even one right? It seems like they'd need a lot of room

They're similar to a flying squirrel, but no, they're not. They marsupials. You do need a really large cage for them, 3x2x2 is the minimum (the height being the largest dimension) for 2, and you should really have 2, they're very social. They also form an extremely strong bond with their owners, and need to be taken out of their cage for playtime almost everynight for about 2 hours. They have specific dietary needs, and have to be on a proven diet, like BML, ZooKeepers Secret, or Ensure. You have to glider proof everything in the room that they stay in, in case they get out, even if you play with them in a tent like I do. They're hard to take care of, but in my opinion, very worth it, if you're up to the task. Search Google or something for info if you'd like to learn more, there are quite a few sites out there.
