hamster going crazy

Usually my hamster sleeps through the entire day, but today he woke up and started running around the cage like mad. Like he was stir crazy or something. He kept trying to climb out too, which he has never done before. He kept jumping off his igloo onto his water bottle to climb up. I did take him out and play with him for a while, but when I put him back in it was the same thing. Then all of a sudden he went back in his igloo and went to sleep. Is he bored? Or could it be something else?

Just restless, no worries! let him out to play in his ball more.

my chibi was like that, she had a few toys but didnt have a wheel as i needed one with a sucker on it she would wake up randomly and try and climb up the corner of the tank, she hasnt done it since i got her a wheel tho
