Hey I thought it might be neat to hear about peoples falls...Just last night I fell off, because I was going no sturrups and cantering on a 20m circle, and when I was trying to bring my horse back down to a trot he was going back and bouncing and I felt out of control. My coach told me that if I pulled back on his face that he'd buck, so I was afraid to pull back... and so I just sorta fell off, but I guess my coach meant that if I went the whole lesson pulling on his face he'd get mad... :blush1:

I've also never fell off a horse, my brother has many a times. He had a green broke poney who didn't like to be ridden though. He'd run you into the fence, barn or try and roll over with you on his back.
Ahhh poor old soul he's probably 25 years old by now. We gave him away for a companion horse. As my grandmother isn't in good health and didn't want any more horses kept in her barn.

He's having fun being a companion though, so is our retired race horse. He's enjoying doing NOTHING all day! LOL
