New Parakeet

My wife and I just bought a parakeet from a bin o' budgies :D at PetCo. Anywho... he was sitting around on his perch not doing much, but when my wife and I started listening to some alternative / punk music he started climbing and jumping around... is he a fan of the hard stuff or should we try to stick to Sinatra around him? ;) :p

my birds always get the most excited during music.. they yell at me when I play third eye blind but they like evanescence and linkin park..

My lovebirds like to listen to rock... If I change it to anything else... they get mad, flapping their wings real hard and sqwak a lot. It's kind of funny. They dance back and forth when the rock music is on. :headphone

Perhaps the music was to loud for him, remember that bird earing is much much better then ours.

my radio is never loud... I have chronic Migraines... lol ALL THE FREAKIN time i have a migraine... UGH

By birds don't like Bright Eyes at all, but they like Cake alot.
