I put a rat in my snakes cage but he didn't eat it. He was just snuggling with it and didn't care for food.
I feed it a week ago, do you think he was full???
Well help me out I need to learn a little bit more about my snake.

I would suggest http://www.alanboschreptiles.com/index.html

He's VERY knowledgeble about anything reptile, but his specialty is BPs. If you send him an e-mail, he'll usually reply to it within a couple hours, if you like, you can even call him personally and speak with him over the phone. He sent me his contact info through an e-mail he sent me.

Firstly it isnt unusual for your Ball Python to go off his food once in a while.

How long have you had him ?
Can you describe your set up ?
What are the tempretures?
is he in shed ?

Royal Pythons are very fussy when it comes to eating. you have to ensure everything is perfect for them or they will simply refuse.

The only other reason for refusing would be if he is in shed.. have his eyes gone cloudy ?

any additional info would be great, pics if poss..

You should never feed your snake in his cage. You should have a seperate box you feed him in. Your snake will either think everything that moves in his cage is food (including your hand entering it to pick him up), or if you hold him often, you'll find he eats less because he doesn't realize its food.
