Hello everyone. I have two male sugar gliders that need a good home. They are about six months old and very sweet. I have the cage, pouches, wheel and some toys if needed.

I got my boys from a very good breeder. They are not neutered and their parents were colored. One of they boys has a very nice cream underbelly. They are not related, by the way.

Please contact me about price or any other questions you may have. MadiTheKat@myfam.com

I am willing to drive up to a couple of hours out of Salt Lake to meet or take them to a good home.

Thank you!

My name is Jessica and I've been looking for a pair of sugar gliders for a long time. Something draws me to them and their constant companionship. I live in South Jordan Utah and would be happy drive out and pick them up. My boyfriend and I would like very much to have them as a part of our family to raise and love. I can guarantee they will never find a better home
Say hello to those cuties for me.

Love,
Jessica

Jessica,
I just thought I would let you know that I asked about the cage because I found out that the one I have isn't one that is good or healthy for them. But as far as the price of the little guys go, I am not too worried about it. I am asking 200 for both, maybe 150. I really want them to go to a good, loving home. So the price is quite low. The unfortunate thing is that I invested so much cash into them just to have to let them go so soon. :( Again, I look forward to hearing from you. I will not be available from 6:00 - 9:00 tonight. But you can call before or after that. Thanks again for your interest and response.

Jessice,
You can get live giant mealworms at places like Pet Smart. I got mine from Rainbow Mealworms 1-800-777-9676. They were sent in the mail in just a couple of days from when I ordered them. They should be kept in oatmeal in the frig.
Thanks again!

Hello, Mary!
I was hoping to drive down to the petfactory and pick up the sugar gliders today. Currently I have a very spacious cage being made for the little guys from wire mesh- but it will not be finished until monday.I was wondering if you would mind me taking the bird cage you've kept them in. I could return it through mail if you would like. :D
Also, All I can afford right now (due to cage supply) is 150$- will that be acceptable?

I've never heard of petfactory before, are they a USDA liscenced and reputable breeder, or more like a pet shop? www.petfactory.com is this them?

Make sure the cage is PVC coated to prevent UTI's! :D

Hello again.
I just wanted to update you on the sugar gliders. They are doing just fine- happy to say- That had a wonderful time exploring the "Glider Room" -We've also posted little notes about the house on what they like to eat and what shouldn't be exposed to. They bonded right away to Sean, my boyfriend- and have had a great time in their new little pouches we bought for them. The cage in progress- and I made sure to get PVC- Plastic Vinyl Coated-. ;) I was just wondering if you could tell me their favorite foods- so we could make sure to offer them a treat now and then during the weak. Also, I was curious about toys- did you say you had some you wanted to include with them? And did you receive your money from the Pet Factory? Any tips on their personalities, likes and dislikes would be wonderful!
...anyways,
I can see how you became so attached to them...and they are becoming the light of our lives! Thank you so much...
love
Jessica

Jessica,
I am so glad you are having fun with the boys and I am happy that they are doing well. :) The toys that were in the cage when you picked them up should have been offered to you. If they were not, I am sorry. I am sure that whoever assisted you at the pet store just didn't realize that. I will try to get a hold of Chad and find out what they did with them. Those were the only toys I had. Did you get anything with them, I mean of the things in the cage when you picked them up?

Both of the boys love mealworms!! And they really liked the Kerns brand apricot juice. Not too much. I used to put a couple of teaspoons into a small container (one that is hard to tip). They drink it all so well that you would think you hadn't put anything in there at all! They also like little chunks of most fruits / veggies. Apples are good!

Have you named them? I didn't get a chance to show you who each of them are. <sigh> I hope you love them and they are happy!!
Thank you again.
Love,
Mary
P.S. You can call me anytime or email me at MadiTheKat@myfam.com with any questions or to updat me. Okay? Enjoy.

Melissa,
The site you posted isn't The Pet Factory I go to. The one here is definitely a pet store. They are quite knowledgeable about sugar gliders. The owner has had quite a few as members of his family for some time.

Hello again
All we picked up from the Pet Factory was the boys and a little bag a food for them (Insect pellets)
Anyway, Yep! They are very happy here and are having a wonderful time jumping about-
Nighty Night for now,
Jessica

Hello, Mary-
Got some bad news. I'm no longer sure how well this will go for us. Thought we have enjoyed them very much I'm not sure if We truely have enough time to pay enough attention to them. I really want them to have everything they need and be taken care of as best as possible for a very, very long time...
Now, We do know a very sweet woman who has raised sugar gliders before- and would be happy to have ours, but I was wondering if you would like them back (Free of charge) since you really know them...and have loved them for a very long time.
-thanks.

What are you feeding them? a proven diet, or something store bought? I'm sorry that you may have to give up your gliders so soon, but you probably should have done more research if you're already finding out that you don't have time for them.

Jessica,
I have been out of town for the past week. I am sorry that this is not working out for you! Are the boys okay? I regret deeply to say that I would not be able to consider taking them back until a while after the baby is born. So I guess if you know someone who will love and care for them, then that is your decision on weather to give them up or not. I appreciate your thinking of me though. I miss them a lot. But I just cannot take them back right now. Please let me know what you are going to do. Okay? Again, I am sorry they didn't work out. Will they atleast be able to go together? Thank you again for wanting to love them.
Mary
