I got and english bulldog for christmas and she died from seizures only at a year and a half. I am 14 years old now but i wrote this poem when i was 6 years old, i laugh and it makes me happy whenever i see it.
(her name was Caits Lazy Daisy. hehe :p )

Daisy,
One of my only dogs i love so.
I loved you from head to toe.
Even though i wasn't there to say my last goodbye,
Always remember when i sang you a lullaby.
Remember when I hugged you.
Remember when i snugged you.
I guess this will be my goodbye, from here to up high.

I made this poem becuase i was so depressed. She had a seizure while i was sleeping in the middle of the night and it was a school night. When i woke up, i noticed i as late to school and walked out into the living room and asked my parents why didnt they wake me up?
They told me what happend and how she even tried to bite the vets becuase she was so confused and how they couldnt calm her down. At first, i was like, "yeah, right, stop kidding around" and they were like no, we are serious. I ran into my room and they were almost thinking of makeing me go to therapy becuase i wouldnt talk for a week. I was very depressed. But now i am happy she is in a better place where she doesnt have to suffer any more.

Lovely poem. Only tragedy allows the release of love and grief never normally seen.
