I'm sure 90% of you are tired of seeing posts identical to this one due to the insane amount of impulse buyers and those buying these creatures because they're 'cute' without doing a lick of research. That said, I have never owned a sugar glider before, though I have done research since I was twelve (I am now twenty-one). I have wanted a sugar glider for years, though I have held off on getting one due to insufficient space and funds.
Currently, I live alone in a four bedroom house in Killeen and work a forty hour work week on a night schedule. I'm also an aspiring author, so on my days off I stare at a computer screen for a good twenty hours. Moral of the story? I'm nocturnal too. And writing hours on end offers a perfectly stationary pocket for a sugar glider.
To make a long story short, I know my stuff. I understand the bonding needs, nutritional necessities and how challenging sugar gliders can be. Regardless, I still want two sugar gliders. Preferably of the same sex or a female and a neutered male. I'm not crazy about paying 150 bucks for each sugar glider and another 100+ for an adequate living environment, however. So if anyone has a pair of sugar gliders who they are trying to find homes at non-insane prices, please e-mail me at jeilonwy@hotmail.com
