If I was to sneak a sugar glider off to college with me, when I go, would the change of enviroment stress him out?

I would wait until you are out of college before you get a glider. They require too much time for many college students. Most of the rescues that I have seen are because a college student can't give them the time and care that they require.

I just got my Glider and I'm in college, I wouldn't say that it's for every college student, but I manage. Mine was a little stressed at first but, he adjusted well to being here. It depends weather or not you have time for him while you're there and make sure you don't get caught!

Honestly, I wouldn't do it if I were you. If you get caught, where is he going to go? Do you have someone that will take him in that instance? Not to mention that if they make any noise at all, it's very easy to be caught.

not to mention if you & or your roomies are listening to loud music as well as yelling ect that will be back for your gliders health.

being moved from one home to another to another it hard on it, but being moved from one owner to another is even worse for them! i will also suggest a bit more thinking about it before doing!!! good luck!

OH MY GOD! yigos flower I live in south bend too! Well, I live in Elkhart. 10 minutes away from south bend. Did you get your gliders from Linda? This is so cool. You’re the first person I have ever seen on a forum that lives near me.

I agree 100%. Give it some more thought future vet. Gliders are not low maintenance pets.
