Hey I'm new and would love to talk horses.

Hey y'all! I'm a major horse freak and don't mind admitting it. I know a lot, but not everyone is willing to talk horses. I'm intending to go to school for horse training in two years. After that, it's off to training to become a jockey. Have you heard about some of the things jockeys do to lose weight, it's pretty scary. I at least have six to seven years to lose any weight i gain that could go over the weight standards. Well I'd love to talk with anyone.

good luck becomeing a jockey! hope you are short ;) Where do you plan on going to school for "horse training"? I'd suggest getting involved with a local racetrack if you can. Start learning the ropes and making contacts. Networking can be a great thing.

I'm intending to go to Morrisville for horse training, then i have to go to some school in Kentucky or elsewhere to train to be a jockey. To be totally honest i'm not that short, but i am for a kid my age. i'm working on getting connections, i already have two for the batavia downs. they're relatives of friends. right now though, i'm searching for this horse place that needs help. i don't know what it's called, but apparently it's a stable for injured horses. well gotta go. intending to watch my movie with my puppy that thinks it's interesting.
