Bad Scare

Boy did Misty1964 and I have a bad scare yesterday. One of our hammies died a week ago and we had an other that acted like he was dying late night. He walk funny then just laid on his side. One of the other hammies tried and lick the sick hammy so we took the sick hammy out of the cage and gave him waterwitch he drank lots of. We left him with bedding in the box which we put the hammies when we clean the cage and after about 1 hour he was doing better and we gave him chicken and he ate that! He seem better today. But what a scare.

Well we brought the little guy to the vet and 2 other hammies also to have their nails cut.The vet checked him out and said his heart and lungs and also the inside of his mouth was ok....she thinks maybe it was becasue he the smallest one and was not able to eat....So for the time being Im feeding him baby food by spoon which he seems to like (not to mention all the attention) heheh he seems better which im very happy for...:)..he is a sweetheart :p

And I have to say it look so cute when he does lick the food off the spoon! As Misty1964 says "He's such a cutey" :p

Hi all..Just a qucik message to say that the little is doing better...he is still tiny but back to climbing the cage again,,,a big diffrence from last week wheb he would walk a fall over on his side..I have been feeding him baby food by spoon since last week and he likes it alot...Im going to post a pic of it ..hope it works :D
