What to plant for pasture land?

Hello everyone. New to site. I recently bought some land and plan on eventually having horses. What should I plant for pasture? There are lots of briars and scrub there now. Any sugg. would be appreciated. LisaG

I'm not sure there are many land owners here (I could be wrong though!). I suggest doing a google search on planting pastures. Good luck!
