I also have a pair of gliders that need a new home. I live in northeast Iowa. Delivery might be possible. They include a 2 year-old male and a 1 year-old female. Very tame, playful and curious. I am also selling loads of equipment. This is a much more affordable way to get gliders than to buy babies from a breeder and all new supplies. Contact me if interested: lauragentry@lycos.com

I am interested in your gliders and live in Bedford, IA (Southwestern-almost to Missouri border). Can you tell me how much you are asking for the little guys. Have raised gliders in the past. Had a nice pair for almost 8 years. Died of old age.

Hi Danielle,
According to Mapquest, we live 340.81 miles from one another. I'd be willing to meet you half way for a glider transaction. I bought the pair along with a 6' x 3' cage, tent and all manner of supplies from a person I met at this forum. That was last November, and I paid her $400 for the entire set up. I realize that since the gliders are a bit older now, they wouldn't be worth quite that much, but let me know what you would be willing to pay and we can go from there. I'm glad to hear you have already owned gliders so you know how to care for them. I'm certainly willing to negotiate since I know you'd give them a good home.

Hi there. Thanks for responding. I will need to speak with my husband. The biggest problem is the cage. We own a 1987 Honda Civic sedan. I don't think I would be able to fit the cage. If decide to get them, I would probably have to think of something a little smaller, one which I could fit in my car without doing damage to the interior. Hubby would flip. The little car is old, but in great shape.
Let me talk to him to think of a solution. Will get back with you soon.

How much would you want for them without the cage?

I would also deliver or meet halfway - I am east of Sioux City. This little girl needs a new home as she was my boyfriend's and he 'flew the coop' so to speak! Make me an offer, not too worried about money - just would like a good home for her.

Danielle:
What would you be willing to pay for my glider pair without the cage? We could still throw in the other supplies. Perhaps you could get "Meriwon's" girl as well and have a nice little glider community.

Hi Gentry
Well, I have to figure this all out. If I get the other girl I am going to have more outlay of funds, so I have to figure out what I can afford to spend.

Danielle, I think you were directing your question to Meriwon, but I can tell you that my gliders have been on the Suncoast diet with a variety of fresh fruits and vegetables and they are in excellent health.
