Long Haired Hammy Why Not?

Ok So i have a long haired hammy and she will be turning 8 months old in a coulple of weeks. So why hasn't her hair grown out? It's only got a couple long hairs behind her ears and at her but. Does it grow out when she gets older? I had another hamster but she was a short ahir shor i need some advice.... ASAP.... :confused: :yawn1:

You won't notice a whole lot on female long hairs...they get most of their growth behind their ears and at their butt. :)

yes.. females don't have long hair like males. males are the ones with the really fuzzy look i had a long haired syrian hammy once it was a female and her hair was really long behind her ears her butt i trimmed the long hair around her butt...well good luck with your hammy =)
