Favorite breed and color?

My fave breed is the Appaloosa! and I like black leopard the best!! :D

MY 2nd fave is the Quarter Horse and out of those I like buckskins and bays!

That's Palamino. Buckskins have a dorsal stripe and most have dark manes, tails, and legs.

Quarter horses are my #1 favorite, especially palominos - just like my horse, Taffy. I would post a pic but I'm not sure how. :(

I also love Arabians - white or gray. They are so beautiful, but a little too high-strung for me.

Duns do, buckskins can. I had a buckskin who had a dorsal stripe.

Buckskins can, but it means they're either a dunskin (buckskin dun), or it's countershading and not a true dorsal stripe. My chestnut filly looks like she has one right now, but it's just her adult coat coming in.

Buckskin and dun are caused by two different genes, so they look a little different is all.

Steph, Palamino isnt really a breed...Some people think it is though cause they can be registered as Palamino. Anywho...Since my little baby is Arabian, I am obligated to say Arabs...I love their highstrung, better than every other horse attitudes. :)

I love Shires. Even though they are draft horses they make great pleasure horses and they can jump some! I love Buckskins!! (Quarter horses that is)!

I Have A Purebred Papered Arabian Gelding Named Hamis( Pronounced Ham-eese) And He Is Absolutly Wonderful And Has More Personality Than Any Horse Ive Ever Seen...Arabians Are Definatly My Fav Breed Because They Are VERY Intelligent And VERY Spirited Which Scares Alot of People Away From The Breed. He's cute!!!!!!!! I don't have a fav breed or color- I'll ride any horse that you throw at me. I don't care about confo, looks, breeding, ect. When I look at a horse I look for a horse that has a personalitly to match mine and the willingness to please me.

definitley a friesan . no question at all , if i cant have a friesan i wont have a horse at all. if i ever win the lottery( as if!) i'll get one. and obviously it would have to be black .*daydreams*....mmm a black friesan called ...vortigan. 16 or 17 hands. i'd have tailor made tack and get the leather embossed and worked with celtic knots and dragons......droool ;) then i would ride him arond the countryside in gothic styled riding gear and wearing my favourite sword! :D OK claire daydream over!!sorry about that got a bit carried away! :slaphappy

I think Friesians are absolutly stunning horses. I would love a pitch black one with extra long mane and tail. That is my dream horse.
For personality I would say Thoroughbreds, as that is what I have been riding my whole life.
For looks alone I like Friesians firstly, then in no particular order i like : Arabians,Belgians, shires, clydesdale,dutch warmbloods,and percherons.

My favorites have to be Nakota horses, and Andalusians. My horse is a QH/Paso Fino, and i luv her with all my heart but I really dont think that great of purebred QH's because they are just so over muscled that it serves no purpose anymore, and he breed foundation is making it harder to breed good ones because all they are fucosing on mainly is bulk. Happilly Rusty is a mix so to me, she just right. LOL

Hey. My favorites would have to be Oldenburgs, Hanoverians, and dutch warmbloods...They all make wonderful hunters, well just my favorite hunters :-) Color wise probably Dark bay...or chestnuts.
