Need Help with Business Plan for Pet Store

Hey. I am currently attending college to get a degree in business, hopefully I'll be able to open up a pet store in the future. For one of my classes, we have to create a "business plan" over a business of our choice. I thought this would be a good time to start researching information for my pet store that I'll someday open, so I am doing my business plan on a pet store.

I was wondering if anybody has any experience in writing a business plan and if so could they give me some advice. I'm kind of at a loss right now, I have no idea where to start or anything.

One specific question I do have is: Is there a company on the internet that wholesales their products to petstores, so I can get an idea of how to price things for my business plan.
