Hey...I asked questions about my pups a while ago and now I need to find new homes for them. My boyfriend and I split up. We were living together and he was buying the dog food. I only make so much a month and cannot afford to feed them any longer. Yes they are being fed but its to the point where I can't buy myself food so I can feed them. One of the puppies is my boyfriends...he just abandoned her in my care. Made me take responsibility for them all.
They are 4 months old. They are both black and have white spots on their chest. One female and one male. Bear and sStar. Tjhey are really sweet puppies. They are somewhat potty trained and crate trained. They have had distemper shots but not rabies. I am workin on it....not much money to go around.
I also have a 4 year old male german shorthair that is also my boyfriends. I guess I need to take care of him too. He hasn't had any training in the hunting area as far as I know. He was given to my boyfriend last year. He didn't want him but made me take care of him. He is a really sweet dog. Loves to lay on ur feet when ur sitting in a chair\. Likes to put his head on ur lap...moans.....A big sweetie. He is not a big fan of other dogs tho. He gets along ok with the puppies but would rather not have them around.
I have contacted all local shelters and they are all full and they also told me that Black puppies don't sell because everyone has black puppies. If anyone could help me out I am in West Bend, IA and have been trying to find another place top live as I have been staying at my exs house because I connot afford to pay rent. He is trucking all the time so he never comes here. He also just bought a house somewhere else so I will have to be moving soon. Anyways.....tha for your time.
This feels really bad having to try and find homes for these guys but I don't know what else to do. At least they would have a good home where they can get the care they need right? I am doing the best I can
