Gerbil Always Bitting Me

:argue: My gerbil is a male if that mattes in any way and he is always biting me. Even if I'm just holding him in my hand he bites me usually more than once. I have tried everything fedding him, petting him, leaving him alone. I've had him since he was a baby and he just seems to hates me. Is there a way to stop this? :argue:

Maybe he's lonely and wants a gerbil companion. Where are you located? If you aren't far I could take him if you don't want him or I could help you get him a buddy. I'm in SC.

Oh he has a friend and everything I just don't know what is wrong

My gerbil does the same. Some gerbils just don't like to be held. You can play with him without holding him.
