Can i see a panda Bear hammie

Does any one have a PAND BEAR HAMSTER? Can some one post a picture please!. well i have see one but heres the thing.

I walked to Petsmart and i was of course looking at the hammies, and it said Panda bear hamsters, they were in there house so i couldn't see. So i was looking and out one comes, and what i have see before the have

1. Short hair
2. Black & white hair
3. And a Cherry red nose

Now if i'm rong correct me please. Because this one just looked like long haired hammie. It had..

1. long hair
2. grey & white hair
3. and a PINK nose like every other hamster..

It just looked like my hamster when i got her, now shes brown. please i'm so curiouse... :hypnotize

Hi! I have a panda bear hamster. (They're Syrian hamsters that are black with white markings.) Here are some pictures of Ping:

The fur on his face looks kind of gray in this picture, but it's just the glare from the flash. His fur is actually black.

Like lpn1993 said they're just black banded syrian hamsters. Though I do like them.

The ones in my petsmart were a brownish grey an white, so it was false advertising... And they had long hair too.. they charge $20 for them! (verses $7.99)
*if anyone has any actual material, that i can print out and take there with me to tell them..it would really help! :) *

Do panda bear hammies have red nose some time? SOme one told me that they do and actually i saw one, just wondered..?

The ones you mentioned sound like they're long-haired Syrians (teddy bear) that are banded. The pet stores sure do take advantage and charge a lot for the "fancy" hamsters, when they're just varieties of Syrian hamsters.

The pet stores in my area charge $12.99 for panda bear hamsters, but I found mine at the shelter for $5.00. The shelter charges the same price for hamsters, regardless of what type they are. Try checking at the shelter. You can find some pretty hamsters there, and they're usually less expensive than the pet stores. Plus you'd be rescuing a homeless hammie. :)
